The Kingdom of Arnor - Diplomacy

The Chamber of Concords and The Court of the Outer Crown

Arnorian Foreign Administration:

Arnorian international relations are administered through two institutions directly bound to the Royal Authority — the Court of the Outer Crown and the Chamber of Concords. Though distinct in purpose, they act in concert to embody the will of the High King and the unity of the Arnorian people.

The Court of the Outer Crown

The Court of the Outer Crown serves as the principal organ of Arnorian diplomacy and administration of outer affairs. It conducts negotiations, maintains dialogue with foreign powers and protectorates, and conveys all matters of external concern to the Royal Household.

Its envoys, titled Wardens of the Outer Crown, are entrusted with representing not only the monarchy but the entirety of the Arnorian Realm before other nations and interstellar entities. Their conduct is held to the highest ceremonial and moral standards, as each act and word reflects upon the dignity of the Crown.

The Court is presided over by the Lord (or Lady) Warden of the Outer Crown, appointed by the High King. In the absence of the sovereign, the Regent may exercise authority of appointment.

The Chamber of Concords

The Chamber of Concords stands as the sanctifying body of Arnorian diplomacy. While the Court of the Outer Crown governs communication and negotiation, it is the Chamber that binds oaths, seals pacts, and enshrines treaties as lawful and sacred.

Composed of oathmasters, and philosophers of word and law, the Chamber preserves the rites through which concords are witnessed and made binding before the Crown. Every great alliance, truce, or protectorate bond must pass through the Chamber's sanction before entering the Royal Record.

Its members, known as Keepers of Concord, are considered the moral custodians of Arnorian diplomacy — the guardians of word and truth.

Arnorian Royal Cartography:

The Court of the Outer Crown formerly oversaw the fabrication of maps and maintenance of geographical data across the Arnorian dominion. However, following the technological ascendancy of the Denebolian Republic and the introduction of their subdimensional satellite positioning system, Arnorian cartographic operations were largely ceased, with the Denebolian system now serving as the standard across the protectorates.

Arnorian Interstellar Protectorates:

The protectorates are societies established upon worlds accessed through the subdimensional network maintained by Arnor. These realms entered into Arnorian administration either by oath or necessity, their stability preserved under the guardianship of the Crown.

The Court of the Outer Crown oversees all communication and governance concerning the protectorates, ensuring the lawful exercise of Arnorian oversight and the maintenance of order beyond the homeworld.

The protectorates remain vital to the future of the Realm — both as sources of material and as living testaments to the reach and legacy of the Arnorian Crown.

Planetary relations

Denebolian Republic

Friendly relations, Denebolian Accord Founder

Although Denebol has undergone many reformations at its birth, some Arnorians still didn't trust them properly, because of secrets they kept from them and because of Denebolian ˝abandonment˝ during Great war. Even High King had some suspisions about SHIELD, but since the Great War, Arnor has been working with Denebol and relationships were growing each day. Tourism, trade and science flurished. Defeat of Barbarians and start of Denebolian war was drawing both nations friendship ever closer. The new Denebolian "Young Trade Directive" was also very appreciated in Arnor, even thou it was looked upon with suspicion. Suspicion that later proved unnecessary. The implementation of Sub-dimension ("magic" for some) into Arnorian technology drove a wedge between both nations scientists before Denebolians discovered planet with different magic.

The Arnorian crisis hindered relations between the two nations. Denebol has every right to look at us distrustfully when we have exposed our universe to eternal danger, all the more so because we have broken the accord. On the other hand, the economic and scientific help that Denebol gave us is now partialy seen as a killswitch. Yet, such help is necessary and still appreciated by many. Without it, Arnor would be left as insignificant nation interesting only by few mighty warriors. Arnor is now trying to regain lost trust and adjust its goals to be accepted by both nations.

Friendly relations, Denebolian Accord member

Being both small nations compared with Denebol is making fine friendship. Partial adoption of Eldarian ancient language also helps, even though in some cases, Arnorians adapted it and changed it, to suit them.

They didn't even realized there was Arnorian crisis until it ended. They however miraculously entered the scene in the last second to stop Arnor from leaving the Accord. Not much changes here, except appreciations of loyalty, which drives Arnorians to change their approach in planetary core situations.

It should be also noted, that Arnorians are aware of Eldarian interests in core of the planet and if their desires overcome them, Arnor, although hesitantly, will use brute force agains them, in order to save the planet.

Hydra State

Neutral relations, being annexed by the Denebolian Republic

As with Denebol, Arnorians are still peeved for "abandonment" during the great war and trigering civil war in the colony fueled hatred further more. Despite all that, Hydra disappeared into obscurity long ago and Arnorians no longer care about them.

Barbarians

Hostile relations, At War

There is no diplomacy, only war.

Their fate is death by our hands!

Ingerdimnär

Hostile relations, At War by extension

Arnor doesn't have any diplomatic contact with them. The only encounters with them were through Arnorian expeditionary soldiers sent to Denebol and those encounters were in fight.
